Arroz Chaufa is a fried rice recipe representative of Chifa cuisine or what is the same, the fusion between Peruvian and Chinese cuisine. A delicious typical recipe for Peruvian family meals. It was at the end of the 19th century that thousands of Chinese citizens went to work in the fields of Peru, hence their influence on Peruvian cuisine.
We will prepare it with chicken, but you can use pork, beef, sausage or seafood. This recipe is so flavorful and good!
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
350 gr of cooked rice
2 eggs
1 red bell pepper
3 green stems of Chinese chives
300 gr of chicken breast
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 pinch of Ajinomoto seasoning
15 gr ginger
Instructions
Prepare a French omelet and cut it into brunoise.
Cut the chicken breasts, the green part of the chives, and the red pepper into cubes.
Sauté the ginger
Sauté the Chicken
Add the red pepper
Sauté the chives
Incorporate the rice and mix
Turn off the heat and add the soy sauce and ajinomoto
This recipe moves pretty fast so get all of your veggies diced and minces and in order.
