Steak in Pasilla with Nopales

The pasilla chili is one of the favorites to accompany some delicious steaks. On this occasion, we invite you to prepare these nopales and steak in pasilla, so delicious that its flavor will conquer you.


Steak with Nopal and Pasilla Chili Pepper

The flavor of the pasilla chili is a favorite to pair with pork and beef. This recipe adds a healthy twist with the nopales and a delicious medium heat to the steak, ideal for any day of the week.


Ingredients

(Serves 4)

  • 200gr nopales Doña María

  • 8 Cambray onions cut in half

  • 4 beef steaks

  • Salt to taste

  • Vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. In a pot drain the Nopales and reserve.

  2. Besides, soak the pasilla chilis in 3 cups of water, when they are soft, liquefy them with that water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained; strain and reserve.

  3. Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onions and steaks, when they are cooked, empty the liquid, season and cook until it boils.

  4. Add the nopales and cook the time necessary for them to heat up.
